    I have been a patient at Dental Center of Highland Park for a few years now. I had not been at all impressed with our wait time in the past, and never felt inclined to respond to surveys. However, last Saturday was a big improvement! My (2) children and I were there for our 6mo check up and were seen on time and were out of there within a couple of hours. My hygienist was amazing, and the young lady explaining my treatment was so friendly and patient, and I didn't feel pressured into doing something I wasn't ready to. Keep up the good work guys!

    Very crowded, hard to get an appointment that works for an elder with a caretaker as that is limited, also for myself to help Lydia my mother. it was hard to get an appointment that would work with my schedule. The staff handles the workload well. My last complaint is about the parking of the location. It is hard to unload a handicap person in the parking lot. I will have to leave my mother alone while I try to park the car. There is no loading or unloading space.

    I scheduled an appointment for a first time consultation and cleaning, after years of superior dental and periodontal work treatment in another city. After waiting for the better part of an hour (having arrived 10 minutes early for my appointment) I began with X-Rays. The X-Ray apparatus was in a room filled with boxes; the ground was strewn with trash and children's toys, randomly. The various stations are cordoned off by partitions, not rooms, so there is no privacy, and right away I noticed the technicians were pretty cavalier about speaking loudly about their patients' conditions in an open space. Following X-Rays I was treated to a pocket probe at a station with blood soaked gauze lying on the ground. This was not before the dentist placed my prosthesis on a counter top with more trash on it (at least I think it was the dentist, nobody provided their names, titles, or purposes at any point during the exam. I had to demand this information). The ceiling panels, I noticed, had pools of fluid collecting in certain places, and were stained in other places. The general vicinity was unclean. And none of this covers the most egregious part of the visit. Neither the dentist, nor the hygienist were interested in hearing my dental history. That is insane. I came for a very specific reason, and had they know about my actual past progress/procedures they could have made an informed diagnosis on further treatment. They proposed a costly laser deep cleaning treatment, which upon further examination by actual competent professionals proved to be unnecessary. And they dentist thought that two dental implants I had, put in at another facility, were impacted teeth! When I explained that they were metal posts he scratched his head. This was followed up by the most condescending description of my condition, which was un-necessary, as I have been undergoing years of treatment, which they would have known had they listened to my dental history. And because I wouldn't let them up-sell me on a treatment I wasn't sure I agreed with, they refused to go through with my cleaning. But not before a staff member went into the wrong cubicle, and proceeded to go over the details of my visit and treatment options with an entirely different patient. Is that even legal? This facility is disgusting. Every single individual I encountered from the front-desk to the chair behaved unprofessionally. And when I tried to go back for my records, so that I could move-on to a different dental group, with actual professionals who didn't get their degrees from a strip-mall college, the process was made extremely difficult, and handled in the rudest possible manner. Stay away, and look for a better and safer practice.

    Upset with the ortho dept! Had an appt and we show up and it was cxled and no one called to notify us of it... according to office you did but didn't.... if so why was I text two days before to confirm an appt that didn't even exist! My daughter had testing my husband lost his day of work while I was at home recovering alone from a major surgery all for us to show up and not have an appt!

    Hello, my son, Austin, had a scheduled appointment for 04/11/2017 at 6:00 pm for an exam and cleaning. I received a call from the office stating that one of the dentist had an emergency and would not be available for that day/time. So the office staff switched him to 04/13/2017 at 6:00 pm for an appointment. I showed up and only an exam for my son was completed without the cleaning since he was only scheduled for the exam, without my knowledge. When I asked what about the cleaning/sealant the office staff informed me he was only scheduled for an exam, no time for cleaning/sealant. I told them it would have been nice for them to inform me about that so I could have scheduled a different time to come in so everything would have been able to be completed at the same time. Since the cleaning and the sealant wasn't done, I had to bring him back in the next day to complete cleaning and sealant. When appointments are being made, please have the office staff fully explain what should be completed at that time of visit. Usually I have no problems with my son's visits here, the only thing is, that sometimes we have a wait that feels that we are waiting forever. When we went back for the cleaning and sealant, Maria who took care of my son was AWSOME!!!!!! Thanks!!

    Set up an apt and told the person that I wasn't sure if I would find someone to take my 11 yr old to his appointment. I had my 19 yr old one taking him and they send them home because they say they needed a parent. I asked them why and said that to authorize treatment but he was just going for a cleaning so they refused to see him or do anything. They want you there so they can up sell you stafft that they don't even need. So inconvenient. They could have done the routine checked up and I could have come back to get anything that they recommend. Now I may look for a new dentist. This is the second time they do this to me. Last time they told me that it was not necessary for me to be present but they lied and made us waste our time. My older son missed classes that day.

    Very dissatisfied. Had an appointment at 4. I was in their over an hour waiting to see the dentist, only had XRays done. I told them I couldn't not wait any longer because I have somewhere to be at 6. Really, what's the point of making an appointment if they're going to make you wait an hour?! Very ridiculous. I will be switching dentist. The staff was very rude and when I got they did not even greet me, just said to write my name down.

    I don't even know the name of the dentist who extracted my tooth. But I must say that he had a great sense of humor, he put me totally at ease. The novacaine was administered painlessly, the actual extraction was short and sweet. From the first phone call to operation, everyone was nice and informed.

    From the moment you sign your name on the waiting list everyone is very professional and friendly, if that's possible. I didn't have to wait long. I'm happy with the experience. This is coming from a person the does not like going to the dentist.

    Had to bother staff as I had already wait 30 minutes just to get an X-Ray. X-Ray assistant was rude and abrasive. Then has another 30 minute wait for dentist, who was great.
